Day 741 - Beauty and the Beast 🌹🪞 & The Royal Palace 🏰

James started off the day taking selfies with Mom. 🤳🏻 Dad got up early to go to the gym and relax in the Rainforest Spa. You are able to pay for a room pass without booking services but it is limited to the first 60 passengers. 💆🏻‍♂️🚿

A few times we ordered room service in the morning and also at night. 🍽️ One of the big tips is to order coffee around 11pm and it will stay hot in the carafe all night, even 12 hours later. That way you don't need to get up in the morning to answer the door; the latest breakfast can be delivered is between 9am-9:30am. Most items are free, just need to give gratuity. 💵

James wore his new Mickey Birthday tee created by Aunt Robin. It said "James 2nd Birthday"! 🥳 At the breakfast buffet James was playing games with Mom, like hide and seek with the saline bullet cap. 🫣😂 It was also obvious that he already needed a nap. Video below. So we headed back to the room for that. Around 1pm, we saw the matinee of Beauty and the Beast🌹🪞 in the Walt Disney Theatre. It was excellent and we highly recommend it! We noticed James' felt like he had a fever. After the show around 2:45pm, it was 100.3 🤒 so we gave him some Tylenol.

🎭 One of things we didn't mention during our first theatre experience is that it's not really wheelchair accessible friendly. There was one spot on each balcony for a wheelchair/ stroller but you weren't allowed to bring it with you. They wanted you to leave it by the entrance and walk to a seat. 🤔 Everytime we entered the theatre we were stopped about our stroller. We told them that we could remove all of the equipment but then once they understood our situation they would make an exception since it was a "medical stroller".⚕️This conversation happened for all 3 shows we saw there. All in all the caselt members we're very friendly.

Before dinner at 5:30pm, James' temperature was fine. We had dinner in the Royal Palace which was themed around all of the classic Disney princesses. 👸🏼 Our family had a table by the window which was awesome for James to look out from his high chair. Our friends from Indiana who sat next us offered to take photos of us again. 📸 There was also a professional photographer (JUST updated yesterday's post with those photos) who came around to each table for pictures. On this particular night James had just been crying and the photographer didn't really care probably because he had to take thousands of photos that night. You'll see watermarks over that photo because we downloaded it but weren't buying it. 😂 Tonight our assistant server who was out sick for the past 2 nights returned to our service wearing a mask. 😷 We heard over the announcements that one of the evening productions of Beauty and the Beast would be cancelled. Later we found out it was because 6 different cast members had fallen ill. 😬 So glad we caught the matinee! Before bed James' temp rose a little so we gave him some more Tylenol to try and keep it down.
