The Journey of James Weston

Thursday, June 3rd, 2021 Today James weighed in at 5275 grams (11lb 10 oz), gaining 30 grams (1 ounce).  We had a new doctor today in rotation, although he has had James before. No changes today from the doctor. Goal: To wean his vent settings to be able to get on a home ventilator.  Morning: As James was sitting up in his Boppy, one of the physical therapists walked by so we wanted to show her what he could do. She said he was doing so well with his head rotation! She let us know that if needed we can use two fingers to stabilize his head when he starts to turn it back and forth really quick, teaching him to hold it in place. P.S.
