The Journey of James Weston

Thursday, April 7th, 2022 Today Pop-pop would have been 70! James is doing well in his helmet and has been able to keep it on 23 hours with a 1 hour break for bath and trach care. He loves water bottles or empty jugs. James had a visit from the female Cardinal. He is paying attention to the birds at his window. The helmet makes him so sweaty so we are allowed to have 5 minutes breaks to let things dry. We may end up trimming his hair to help with the sweating. Mom tried to work with him on tummy time and putting pressure on his arms.  For dinner James had purees tastes and decided he wanted to bite through a tangerine 🍊. Yes, his 7 teeth took the rind right off and Mom quickly grabbed it out of his mouth. James also thinks it's funny to throw his toys on the floor.  P.S.
