The Journey of James Weston

Sunday, May 8th, 2022 Today James tried out his big boy stroller seat for an outing! It took Mom and Dad a while to agree on the setup in the parking lot (🥵) because originally we wanted him facing forward, but that made everything backwards. It is safer to have him facing the person pushing the stroller in case the trach comes out. However the ventilator is hanging from the handle bar blocking his view. 🤷🏻‍♀️ James was still able to see a lot more than being in his car seat. We went to the Aquarium and then Dad thought it would be a good idea to take a stroll down to Sparkman Wharf to grab some food after the Aquarium closed. They have a bunch of food trucks and restaurants. It was about 120° outside and in the early evening the Wharf turns into what seems like an open bar at a wedding. Needless to say the wait time was an hour to get a table anywhere. Dad decided to grab a scooter back to the car which was almost a mile and pick up Mom and James.
