Day 761 - Ice Packs 🧊 & Porch Pirates 📦
Monday, January 30th, 2023 Mom was packing up equipment and supplies while Dad was at the gym. We got a late checkout because it's necessary with a medically complex kid. Mom went downstairs to the front desk to get the ice packs that we had left with them. We didn't have a freezer in our hotel room and James' prevacid needed to be on ice on our 8 hour road trip. They assured us we could use their freezer. Well it turns out they put our ice packs in a mini fridge at valet; these ice packs were luke warm. Mom was pissed because this was a brand new just recently filled prescription of his medication that needed to be kept refrigerated. She let the front desk know that this was a serious issue so that this didn't happen to someone else. Our plan was to get ice somewhere and put into some plastic bags Mom managed to empty from rearranging the medical supplies.
