Day 125 - Another recovery, poor baby!

Today's events and updates:
His primary care nurse was back. Thank goodness! She was also training an intern. But this intern is a great student and we would be glad to have her as a nurse someday. Night and day from last night's intern. Literally.
James is receiving his 3rd & Final 4 Month Vaccine which is prevnar.
They tried several times to get a catheter in for another urine culture but failed. They are trying to see if the urinary tract infection is getting better or not. If it is getting better, his last day with the IV and getting antibiotics will be May 8th.
Custom trach not coming until Thursday, putting off Trach change until then. At that point, ENT will handle.
Weighed in at 4165 grams, lost more weight from 4215 grams the night before. Just need to get to 5,000 grams to trial a home vent.
Yesterday's results from wrist Xray checking for rickets: No significant change from 3/1/2021.
3:30pm - Mom and Dad did their first ever trach tie change together without a Respiratory Therapist. Successful team work.
After the trach care Dad stepped in to relieve Mom so she could go home and get a few hours of sleep.
5:30p - Brady and Desat

10:00pm - The director came by to let us know he will be by tomorrow to speak with Mom about last night.
10:30pm - Mom is back to see what is in store for tonight. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
12:30am - BPD episode
2:30am - BPD episode. Vented with syringe.
3:30am - BPD episode
4:00am - Attempted another urine catheter. Failed.
4:30am - Mom did trach care. Had to tighten trach ties.
5:00am - BPD episode. Asked RT to increase the PEEP.
5:20am - BPD episode
