Day 154 - Photo Shoot Day! (tons of photos)

Today after his bath and trach change Mom & James' primary nurse did a photo shoot! 📸 📸 📸 If it wasn't for his Primary Nurse reminding us to take pictures we would miss out on these opportunities. 🤗 We dressed up James in what would have been his "coming home" outfit for his "announcement photo"!  By the time we get to go home he will be too big for this. And we're not going home any time soon. 

It's kind of crazy how James can look so different depending on the lighting or the angles of the camera. We are still not sure if he will have red hair or blonde hair or be a brunette! We see all of these colors right now! Definitely has blue eyes (for the time being)! Let us know which one is your favorite! 🥰 

Also James has a new nickname in the NICU used by all of the RNs and RTs. In Mom's family James was also represented by Jim, Jimmy, Jim Jim, and Jimmer. Yes lots of people named James! Well we have started a new tradition, who would have guessed there were more variations... JAMESY!

Overall James had a good day and night. Around 10pm while changing his diaper we noticed that his onesie and blanket were soaked. He was laying on his left side where the G-tube is and was swaddled. That in combination with his stoma being a little bigger than the MIC-KEY his stomach contents had all leaked out onto his onesie, bed, and blankets. So after changing all that out we were good until a few hours later when James woke up with a dirty diaper. During the diaper change he ended up peeing all over the bed. So let's just say Mom had a lot of laundry to do again! 🧺
