Day 703 - Where Did Santa Go? ๐ŸŽ…๐Ÿป ๐Ÿคท๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ

Mom gave James a successful bath last night. It wasn't easy but it was possible. ๐Ÿ› ๐Ÿซง ๐Ÿงผ

We had a scheduled time to meet Santa at the hospital. It's setup as a drive thru to meet Santa and pick out a toy. Mom loaded up the car with all of the equipment. Even though James is off the vent the majority of the day we still need to bring the ventilator, oxygen tank, the rest of the equipment, and all the charging cables. You just never know what situation you may be in and you always have to be prepared. There is no sense in taking a risk just because it is more convenient and less work.

Unfortunately we were 5 minutes late for our scheduled time slot and they had already packed up everything. Santa was gone. They had Mom vote for who had the ugliest sweater so that one of them could win a contest and then gave James options for a few different toys that were actually all the same. They were all very loud toys that would light up. Mom knew that James would cry at all of these. He is not tolerate anything that makes sounds. So we politely declined but they insisted. We will be donating these toys to the local shelter. It was quite unfortunate that this was organized by the  Complex Care Clinic knowing that each family attending this event has a child who is either on equipment or has other medical issues yet as soon as they could they were packed up and ready to go home. Definitely is not something we will be doing in the future.

Afterwards Mom ran a couple errands with James. He does not like waiting in traffic and only enjoys when the car is moving. He did dance to some Christmas music in the car seat. See video.

He looks so big!
The dreaded scoot on the back!
James pulling it down.
He got it!

P.S. You can email James your love and support as often as youโ€™d like. Mom and Dad read these email to James as they come in. We all love them! JamesWestonAbramowitz@gmail.com
