Day 676 - Puppy Dogs 🐾, Smiles 😁 & 1st Trip to IKEA 🏬

Sunday, November 6th, 2022 In the morning, James play with his toys and the remote control which is his favorite. When the dogs woke up James was so excited to see them! He is getting more and more comfortable being around them. They're also more comfortable with James. Once in a while James will try and sneak in a pet when he thinks that they aren't looking at him. As soon as they turn around James will stop. So he's not one of those toddlers that just squeezes the dog until the dog wants to bite them. James very much is gentle and cautious. We took James on a trip to IKEA! He did really well probably because he was constantly stimulated with so much to see!  In the evening, mom tried a different brand of pregnancy tests and ended up getting a much darker line! Thursday will be the official blood test of the clinic but we are already celebrating over here! 🥳🤰🏻🥰 Off to IKEA Changing feed bag in the bathroom Walking through kitchens and living rooms He thinks he needs th...

Day 675 - Notre Dame Football ☘️🏈 & Family Visits 👫🏻

Image
Saturday, November 5th, 2022 Today Aunt Taylor and Uncle Mark came over for the Notre Dame game!☘️🏈 Aunt Taylor got some snuggles in with James and assisted with trach care. James learned that every time he saw football that he should start clapping. 👏 🤣 On another note, Mom finally got a very very faint line on a pregnancy test. Today was 4 days past the transfer and is the earliest that you would typically see anything. So fingers crossed that lines continue to get darker! P.S. You can email James your love and support as often as you’d like. Mom and Dad read these email to James as they come in. We all love them! JamesWestonAbramowitz@gmail.com

Day 674 - First Time Bowling 🎳 & Eating a Lime Slice!

Friday, November 4th, 2022 Just a follow up to Mike's rant and a warning to other parents looking for GI in Tampa. James getting his GJ button replaced has been an awful experience. It really shined light on two things: 1) How limited Tampa is with pediatric GI options. Crazy with Tampa bring so big! 2) How much St. Joe's Children's needs to get their act together. Between the ER and IR, it is a mess! 😢 We ended up needing to drive 4 hours away to a different hospital that would help us immediately with our emergency. It was absolutely ridiculous.  There are only two GI pediatric groups in the entire Tampa Bay area (this includes St. Pete). Here are just some of the reviews online, "the office staff is deplorable", "the service is poor", "the attitude of the office staff is disgusting", "I would not recommend anyone", "every time we need to have something done, they botch it", "nurse didn't even attempt to be nice...
