Friday, December 16th, 2022 In the morning James had his PT evaluation at the hospital. It was a little overwhelming since Mom was doing this by herself with James. For instance she forgot the ventilator in the car and had to run back out before valet drive off to get it. We checked in on the 2nd floor where we used to have Speech Therapy but they were very confused about where we were supposed to go. It showed we had an appointment but no one was available to meet with us. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Then they told us to go wait in the 3rd floor waiting room and someone else was going to meet us. As we got off the elevator, we saw our therapist who was talking to a family so we headed to the waiting room. No one came for us for a while. At this point we are now 30 minutes passed. Finally someone asked.for our names and told us to go across the hall to other department. As we were walking over we ran into one of James' primary nurses that he had on theel weekends. She was very busy with 2 children tha...

Thursday, December 15th, 2022 Today we went to Enchant Christmas St Petersburg at the Tropicana. It was a great experience and we will probably be going back every year.  The entire place is filled with lights there is a little village with shops and places to get food. They have a huge ice skating rink and a light maze with a scavenger hunt to find things. Santa is on a completely separate floor which was nice because you weren't getting your picture taken while a bunch of strangers were watching you. It was an a separate room. We also got an aerial view of the place while we were up high. When we met Santa the elves had let us know that he was taking a milk and cookie break. The Santa was legit the whole environment was amazing. When we brought him in we let Santa know that James comes with accessories and he said that was no problem. As we were trying to get him out of the stroller with his feeding pump and Farral bag Mom started to tear up because James was doing so good. The c...

Day 714 - Lots of Therapy and Bath Time Splashes! 🛁💦

Image
Wednesday, December 14th, 2022 Today James had a hard day at work on his laptop, then early intervention therapy, music therapy, and physical therapy with Dad outside. Lastly Mom gave him a bath upstairs in our bathtub within his bathtub. James splashed like crazy! Mom was soaked. We thought this would be an easier alternative since we can just fill up the bathtub right there but it ended up being way too much work. We will just continue filling up his bathtub in the kitchen and bring it over to his bed.  Today we also received two letters in the mail from social security one saying that James will continue Medicaid coverage and the other saying that they didn't receive the paperwork and that his coverage will be discontinued. So that was really fun for Mom spending the whole day on the phone trying to get that sorted out! P.S. You can email James your love and support as often as you’d like. Mom and Dad read these email to James as they come in. We all love them! JamesWestonAbramo...
