The Journey of James Weston

Tuesday, December 27th, 2022 Today was it busy day for James. First he had a puppet show from Juju. James decided that he would try and stand up in the high chair. We love his desire to go but also keep a very close eye on him and he tries to do some Cirque du Soleil! James did quite a bit of tummy time today reaching for things. It really helps when he is using the arm of a chair or someone's leg to get in that tummy time position.  Mom and Aunt Robin took James for a drive and made a stop at hobby lobby for some craft supplies for our Disney Cruise. Yes did you know that decorating your stateroom door is a whole thing! Aunt Robin is also going to help us with her cricut by making some Disney/Marvel t-shirts. We also went to the St Johns Town Center to stop by Nordstrom's so Mom could find a fancy gown for Dad's upcoming Cutco sales banquet at the end of the year. Monday, December 26th, 2022 James saw his first movie in theaters which was Puss in Boots: The Last Wish. He did amazing!  In the evening we took a drive through one of the neighborhoods in Jacksonville that does an amazing light display. It was very very cold!  Admiring Aunt Taylor's jewelry! Sunday, December 25th, 2022 James had his first real Christmas! He opened gifts, went through several outfit changes, and danced to every song that played.  Aunt Taylor and Uncle Mark enjoying quality time with James. He was obsessed with the huge light! P.S. Saturday, December 24th, 2022 James has been doing so well scooting on his butt! He typically uses his right hand to balance and moves along using his heels on the ground. James has now scooted across the living room! His favorite thing right now is opening and shutting the plantation shutters at Juju's. James also has some adorable Christmas pajamas! He is now stocked up for the season! Of course we need to bring his ukulele with us on the trip. James is in a phase right now where he only wants certain toys. However he is very good about understanding that sometimes we need to do something first before we play. Referring to either diaper changes, G-tube care, or trach care. P.S.
